Astronomy: A Word Of All Worlds

Look at the sky, and see Astronomy itself, sparkling against the night sky. Astronomy- it's practical (but sometimes it's not!). ASTRONOMY - these nine letters can fit together five words- study about space and time. The purpose of studying astronomy?... well I cannot describe all of them in this post... I guess the main reason is because it is fun!
But I can tell you why did I open this blog. It is because I want to write about this field, even though I am not an expert on this field. I want to express my thoughts about astronomy- I mean, this is all blogging is about, right? In this post, the inaugural post, I will discuss about why it is an interesting subject to me, and probably, persuading you to take an interest in it. I chose the title (Astronomy: A Word Of All Worlds) because astronomy is a field of study that belongs to other 'worlds', or more precisely, other planets, other objects in our Universe.
I find Astronomy interesting because it helps us to track down our past, this is the second reason I and other people study Astronomy. Our past, that is, our past of our reality, the Universe. I cannot find the third reason, because all of the other reasons fall in this position!
Well, since I started this question, looks like I have to answer, by giving some examples:
  • Astronomy has lots of unknowns, like about time travel, how do we time travel? Is there anyway possible to venture this most-people-think-impossible concept? Well, scientists think that it might happen through black holes (objects, usually located in the center of every galaxy, through which nothing, not even light can escape). Scientists say that if we can travel into black holes and wormholes (a tube which links a black hole with a white hole), we should shoot out through the black hole's counterpart, the white hole which is supposedly to be on a parallel universe. Scientists think that wormholes can link past and future, that is, our universe and a parallel universe. Thus, scientists think that time travel is possible (theoretically!)
  • Another reason is because, there is a touch of mathematics in this subject, you do calculations and use your methods of deduction to find out the best possibility of any undefined or poorly defined concept. it is our minds that does work every time we have a go in this field.
Well, I am not saying that these are primary ones that falls in the third--reason category of mine. But these are pretty much what type of reasons I have in mind.

Now, to move onto another question. Who or what inspired me to write this blog? Well, the blog itself, is the answer. It all started when I, for the first time visited a blog, which was about space, but then, I was just surfing through the internet to find about evidences of life in Europa, when I suddenly stumbled across this blog. From then, I started to think about making one myself, and now, here it is!
So, I will try write some interesting posts from now on.... so...
                                                                                                        HAVE AN ILLUMINATING READ!
NOTE: As I said, I am not an expert, I am studying in grade 7. So, if you notice any errors please feel free to comment on it.
